I ws just wondering about the affidavit of support forms, my mother in law to be is acting as co sponsor and has filled in the form and provided employment letter, tax forms, property deeds, letters of income etc. Does my fiancee have to fill in the form too? She cant provide tax forms as she is a student and has never had anything more than summer temp employment sub teaching. Does anyone know how this works?

scottukga,

You're still missing some basic details, but I'll guess from your nik that you will be interviewing at the US consulate in London. Several people interviewing there have found that they did not need any financial information from the petitioner, only from the person who qualified to be the sponsor.

That's encouraging if there's not enough time for you to get a financial package from your fiancee, but even so if I were in your place I would have her put one together anyway and try to get it to you before the interview.

Thank you Yodrak, i appreciate the info. I shall have her fill out what she can and i have a good vibe that it should hopefully suffice.
