Visa: check

Airline ticket: check.

She's flying into Detroit, then to Cleveland. Here's the thing: There is not much time between flips in Detroit, 1 hour 40 minutes. I've read the POE reviews, and that looks ok, but it still makes me nervous. I'm half expecting a call that she missed her flight. There is another Delta flight to Cleveland, but it's not for another 6 hours. Here's my question: should I just go ahead and greet her in Detroit? It's about 2 1/2 hours from me to the detroit airport. Will immigration and passport control allow me in when they question her?

Thank you in advance!!

I'm not positive that you'd be allowed in when they question her.

I usually get at least a 2 hour lay over so that I don't have to worry about lines and all. Last time I entered in Detroit I waited for about 30 or so minutes in line - even with a baby.

Good luck and have a safe flight to her~!

I would go to Detroit to pick her up and drive back together and NO you will not be allowed in the Customs/Immigration area.

I am almost sure you will not be allowed past security to greet her. It's only a 2.5 hour drive... Go meet her. Save her a lot of hassle. It took my wife over 2 hours to clear in ATL. 1:40 is not much time to clear on a K-1 and make a connecting flight from Intl to domestic. 2.5 hours is not that long of a drive
