I cannot remember how long we had to wait to hear from the embassy. I received a letter in the mail from the Embassy approximately 2 weeks after the approval. It was Mailed to our USA address. I faxed it to my husband in El Salvador. Have you called the embassy to ask them about it? They told me it can take up to 90 days to hear from them.

Well when I was trying to go ahead with the medical exam without a embassy notification I call to the Dr. To make an appointment and they told me to do a profile to the call center and they gave me the number and was the embassy call center and I was talking with a lady and she told me that she is gonna cancel my appointment that I did before to my second interview so then I has to wait for them

Congrats on the approval !

Can you give me some specifics? Where did you file the waiver and how long did it take to get approved? We have to file one and I am curious about the processing times.

i think it depends on the country & where its getting processed.

Sent my husband's waiver to the phoenix lockbox and it was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

so far wait time for our case is 7+ months. others have been approved sooner than my case.

Oops! I didn't reply right! Filed in Nebraska, they received 2/1/13..... Approved 6/26/13. Each filing location has processing times, you can look them up on uscis website. I think with the new changes in March 2013, things may be different. It also depends on how many cases are before you!

They mail it to Cargo Expresso, the closest one to him is in Santa Ana. The status update says approved but when I loll up the passport it says there is no information on the passport at this time. He thinks it is another week or 2 til they mail if to him.
