Finally, when I logged on the traveldoc website there was a July 30 appointment time available!!!!!!!! Feeling blessed!!!!!!!

When you were scheduling your appointment did you happen to see if there were any other dates available in July or early August?

No it had the one date highlighted only. And I clicked on the box with the date and time and pressed schedule. I think it had to have been a cancelation cause I think they are full through August. That is what they kept telling me anyway.

Thats great that you got an appointment early though!! Please keep us posted as to how everything goes for your husband at his interview!!

My husband just got a call fr The Medical doctor staying he needs to have another evaluation by another Dr and said he has to do this before his appointment. His interview is tomorrow!!!! They waited a week and a half and the day before his interview to tell us about this! Has anyone heard of this happening????

Yeah I have heard of this before from previous posts and in general my lawyer said that sometimes a second evaluation is necessary sometimes a psychyatrist or sometimes for other reasons such as medication or tattoos; or at least those are the reasons I have heard in the past. Were you able to get an appointment with the doctor? Is your husband still going to the interview tomorrow?

Appointment with the Dr is not until September 19th. so now the wait begins again, He did go to the Interview but was told he needs to finish this Psych eval. But he doesn't have to have another interview after this. I wonder how long it takes to get the results to the embassy and then a package to return home.

HELP!!!!

My husband is in El Salvador. We finally were approved for I601 on June 26, 2013. The Lawyer's assistant faxed a copy of the approval to My husband in EL Salvador and told him to take it to the Embassy and consulate along with his passport and then they will stamp it and then he can come home. It sounded to good to be true, so I called the Embassy in El Salvador and they want me to email them the approval (which shouldn't they have it?) and then they will verify all the information, then they will mail him a package that lets him know what to do next. I have tried to make an appointment through the Embassy website but states no appointment times available. So confused as to what to do next!! Can anyone help clarify????? #LOST #Desperate

My husband had his Eval by the psych Dr, which was more like an interview and a urine test. He had his appointment on Sept 19. Now we are still waiting for the Dr to send in the results to the evaluation and it has almost been 3 weeks. We are hoping to hear something soon!!!!!
