I feel like I have missed so much, but don't worry I am catching up.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend. I was with my family playing golf and getting a Christmas tree. Hicham and I also got a small one for our appartment and he chose a statue of liberty ornament to add to the tree.

Happy Birthday Kelly

Have a good day everyone!

Charles: Happy to see you bright and early. So are you working by day and honey mooning by night?? :P

pretty much. we had the honeymoon in brazil anyways :P

speaking of weather, we got a doozy of a storm heading this way. gonna be 72 today, a high of 28 tomorrow :(

That is probably the storm that just passed through here early this morning. It didn't snow as much as I thought it would, but it is nippy outside! Prepare to cuddle tight tonight with Nessa! <hehe>

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

Charles... What's going on in your avitar? I can see pictures being taken, but I don't get it?!

that is a huge statue in rio. it's a jesus statue hundreds of feet tall (well it looks hundreds of feet tall). exactly what the smileys are doing in the pic i dunno, but nessa and i went to that statue while we were in rio for her interview. i'll see if i can find some more specifics on the statue on wikipedia

edit to add:

Christ the Redeemer (Portuguese: Cristo Redentor) is a large Art Deco-style statue of Jesus Christ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The statue stands 38 m (125 feet) tall and is located at the peak of the 710-m (2330-foot) Corcovado mountain in the Tijuca Forest National Park, overlooking the city.

As well as being a potent symbol of Christianity, the statue has become an icon of the city, its open arms seen by many as a testament to the warmth of the Brazilian people.

The monument was inaugurated on October 12, 1931, by president Getúlio Vargas in a large, lavish ceremony.
