What would be helpful to the prosecution is if there were any evidence that GZ was involved in a fight instead of just a beat down. If there were any marks on TM from GZ landing a punch...a bruise, bloody nose, bruised knuckles on GZ, anything. The only fight marks are on GZ.

There was none of Zimmerman's DNA under the nails of TM, which would be there had he actually been slamming GZ's head. TM only had one cut on one of his knuckles - probably from the one punch he landed on GZ's nose. It is very plausible that TM sucker punched GZ in the nose, causing GZ fall backward. It is also plausible that TM took advantage of that moment and got 'on top' of GZ, still fearing for his life from this older man following him. What isn't plausible is that no words were exchanged (even GZ doesn't claim so), yet oddly GZ didn't bother to explain why he had followed TM - no mention that he was the neighborhood watchman, no mention that cops were on their way - nothing. What also is plausible is that GZ could have overpowered TM, weighing about 30lbs more than TM. It's not plausible (and probably not even possible, physically), that TM could have both arms free but managed to pin GZ's arms....that is until magically his shooting arm got free and his range of motion big enough to unholster his gun and shoot TM in the chest. When the police asked Zimmerman to reenact how TM was on top of him, he couldn't demonstrate it to where it supported his version of what happened. That's because it didn't happen the way GZ claims.

I think i'm understanding now. GZ let TM sucker punch him, then George immediately shot him since he was walking, searching with his gun drawn so he could shoot that little black punk. Immediately after shooting TM, probably after feigning a hand shake to let bygones be bygones, which TM in his your fell for, George extended his hand, but after years of practicing, made a lighting draw that would have put famous gunslingers like Doc Holiday to shame and shot the speechless TM who stood there with his hand extended in a peace offering. As soon as TM hit the ground, George bashed his own face and back of his head against the sidewalk to fake some injures to cover up for this plot that he had pre meditated for many months, just so he could bag himself a darkie. Much like a hunter in search of game.

Hopefully the jury sees it as clearly.

They want so bad to believe that TM was shot because he was black and did nothing wrong, that they will ignore any evidence proving that GZ acted in self defense, while at the same time ignoring any evidence that TM was the aggressor. It's getting entertaining in P&R, that's for sure.

I would like to see a blow by blow timeline of what happened (both the prosecutions and defense versions).. They usually do this with these types of crimes and I have not seen it for this case (not a good one anyway). I am very unclear about the actual altercation and how it went down.

For the record, I personally do not feel he was shot because he was black and did nothing wrong. But I do think him being black is part of what caught GZ's attention in the first place.

I don't doubt that at all. If you lived in an all white neighborhood someone of a different color would stand out more. Just as a white person would in a black neighborhood.

I don't think there's a single black person my street. Maybe not even on my block. If there is, I've never seen them in the two years I've been here.

So, the story originates from a right wing site, Washington Free Beacon. Somehow, legitimate media failed to pick up the story. Strange that.
