hi everyone. i'm filling out the AR-11 form for my wife right now. she's a permanent resident waiting for AOS right now. on the form it ask for her port of entry and the date she entered into US. now. i am not sure which date it is asking us. she has lived in the US for almost 2 years, but during this time she and I has travelled abroad twice. are we suppose to write down the date she entered the US for the first time when she received her temporary greencard? or the most recent time she entered us? thank you !

Based on what you wrote...Did you met your wife in the US and married her & applied AOS & got a green card?

when she received her temp green card. And you'll have to do a sponsor change of address on form I-865.

divorced - April 2010 moved back to Ontario May 2010 and surrendered green card

PLEASE DO NOT PRIVATE MESSAGE ME OR EMAIL ME. I HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT CURRENT US IMMIGRATION PROCEDURES!!!!!

Reba is correct that you use the date of her first arrival on the temp green card. You also need to download and file this form for the sponsorship change of address if you sponsored her and have moved.

I had the same question, so I hope that ihsiuhuang won't mind if I post it here instead of opening another thread!

I got here in July 2005, got my Green Card in November 2005, and since then I traveled out of the country twice. If we get to buy the house we fell in love with (fingers crossed!) we might move there in the next few weeks, so I was wondering what date I should put down on the AR-11 form, too.

Is it the date I moved here (July 2005, without Green Card), or the first time I traveled and entered with my Green Card (Feb 2006)???

...I'm confused!!! :crying: Please help! :help:
