Okay so i finally received my RFE for medical which is good but on the RFE they are also asking for this;

[x] The joint sponsor on Form I-864, Affidavit of Support, must submit all supporting tax documentation ( W-2s, 1099s, and all supporting tax schedules) submitted to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for the most recent tax year.

A) Are they asking more documents to my co-sponsors only?

B) are they asking for the main sponsors?

C) They are asking for both?

This is what i sent them on my package.

Form I-864 Petitioner Affidavit Of Support with Supporting Documents

-Certified Copy of our Marriage Certificate

-Photocopy of Petitioners Driver License and Social Security Card

-Petitioners Federal Tax Return Transcript for 2012

-Photocopy of Petitioners Divorce Decree

Form I-864 Co-Sponsor Affidavit Of Support with Supporting Documents

-Photocopy of Co-Sponsors Birth Certificate

-Photocopy of Co-Sponsors Passport (Biographic Page)

-Photocopies of Co-Sponsors 2012, 2011, and 2010 Federal Tax Return

They mean the co-sponsor, and it means that your cosponsor did not submit a complete tax return. Something was missing in it. A complete tax return is the form itself, plus all and any W2s, 1099s, schedules, other forms, etc.

AOS for my husband

ROC:

Thank you for replying fast.

If I ask my co sponsor to request for her recent federal return transcript, would that be enough to send or should i ask for a photocopy of her W2s?

Transcript would do it. I would ask for that because with a transcript, you know it's complete. She might have Schedule 8869 or something that she doesn't realize she has, and with W2s her tax return still might be incomplete.
