Received my interview letter today, Have some questions!

Woot! Today I received my Interview letter today in the mail. Finally after a year and 1 month we got a date.

Im sure ill be asking a ton of questions leading up to the interview, so here is my first one. As I wasgoing over the information they would like you to bring with you, 1 question strikes me as odd.

"A completed medical examination (Form I-693) and vaccination supplement in a sealed envelope"

I received a rfe for this piece of info, do I need another medical?

Hey, congratulations......about time huh? I'm interviewing in NO on Dec 14th after only 18 months waiting. Imagine if we filed now we could have our GC in only 44 days!!

You don't need another medical if you have already sent one. As long as it was current at the time you sent it there is no need to do another. What date are you interviewing?

Never mind....just saw the date in your signature! Doh!

As long as your medical was within the timeframe when filling that is okay I believe. The form for the immunisation record is a different matter though and caused us to get an RFE at our interview for AOS. Although all my immunisations were up to date we didn't have the form filled in by a civil surgeon here in America I thought that the records from Australia and the Civil Surgeon that I had done there would of been all I needed I was wrong and it held us up for I guess a few more months. Thanks for your kind words, My immunizations were upto date at the time of the appt with the civil surgeon and are still currently uptodate. I will however bring my vaccinations from my doctor with me to the interview =)

Yeah, My husband and I have been waiting very patiently for this. He was starting to get aggavated with the waiting. I told him to calm himself and they were prolly going to send us something soon since we heard they have got situated with a new office and such.
