Where is my NOA2? I am almost 6 months and it is not in sight yet! Any Vietnamese couples took this long to get it?ClockWatch2.gifClockWatch2.gif

I am a USC

USCIS:

Jan. 08, 2013 ....I-130 Sent Out.
Jan. 09, 2013 ....NOA1
July 29, 2013 ....NOA2 ....6 Months and 3 Weeks After NOA1

NVC:

Aug. 07, 2013 ....NVC Received File from USCIS.

Aug. 20, 2013 ....Got Case # and Invoice Id # From NVC by phone

Aug. 21, 2013 ....Got DS-3032 form & I-864 bill by email

Aug. 21, 2013 ....Husband (Petitioner) paid AOS bill $88.00 Online - Wife (Beneficiary) email DS-3032 to NVC assigned Husband as Agent to received Mails from NVC

Aug. 23, 2013 ....AOS bill status: "Paid"

Sep. 04, 2013 ....Wife got email from NVC, DS-3032 Accepted.

Sep. 05, 2013 ....Husband got IV Bill by email from NVC, paid $230.00 online.

Sep. 06, 2013 ....IV bill status: "Paid"

Sep. 08, 2013 ....Submitted Form DS-260 online.

Sep. 16, 2013 ....Express Mailed Civil Documents to NVC

Sep. 19, 2013 ....Express Mailed I-864 Package to NVC

Nov. 25, 2013 ....Case Completed at NVC

Feb. 18, 2014 ....Pass Interview, but Wife need to get a new Passport

Apr. 04, 2014 ....Wife get her Visa

Apr. 16, 2014 ....Wife Come To America - JFK Airport

We got ours after 7 months and 27 days. Other got their approval after 8 or 9 months. Hang on there, it'll come soon. :)

I'm a December 4th filer, after almost 7 months I was just informed of RFE although, I havent gotten it yet, only a phone call I made to them to get that information. Call and start pestering them, use number sequence that you have a problem and wait for a human, set up for them to autocall you back like the airlines do as it is like a 90 minute wait

it's still state side so no VN related delays yet but when it does go to the consulate that is when the unfairness to VN begins.

we had our NOA2 at 7 plus months. it is normal.

ok, not quite 7 plus but more than 6 months.

the k1 approval centers are completely different than the 130's and timelines can not be compared.. k1 to k1 yes, but 130's can be 2 months or they can be 10 depending on how it is routed

U should be hearing something soon, whether RFE or approval notice, my took almost 6 months, then 1 month or less from USICS( if approved ) to NVC, then 1 month or less , from NVC to consulate, then 1 month or less from consulate to your fiancé/e (packet 3, which is the first packet,) then 1 month or less from consulate to your fiancé/e (Letter of Appointment), then 1 month from Letter Appointment to interview , then 1 to 2 weeks to receive the Visa by DHL delivery service, if approved. After that, enjoy and good luck.

Aug 23, 2010: I-129F NOA 1
Feb 07, 2011: I-129F NOA 2
May 23, 2011: Interview. Blue Slip
Jun 20, 2011: Submit Documents: 1) Timeline, 2) 10 year residency(me), 3) 10 year residency(Thu), 4) Letter explaining how/where we met. Second Blue Slip
Feb 03, 2012: U.S. Consulate Investigators call Thu's residence. Spoke to Thu and Thu's parents
Feb 27, 2012: Received email from the U.S. Consulate that our case is finished processing. Requested to submit updated Police & Medical papers.
Mar 06, 2012: Submitted updated Police & Medical papers.
Mar 21, 2012: Received K1 Visa
Apr 07, 2012: Point of Entry @ LAX

Adjustment of Status Stage
Apr 23, 2012: Got married!
Apr 30, 2012: Received Social Security Card
Jun 30, 2012: Applied for AOS
Sep 22, 2012: Received Employment Authorization Card...Still waiting for 2 yr GC

I was reading the wrong timeline.. you need to find out if your case was transferred to your local office.. get a tier2 on the phone to find out
