Average is currently 143 days from NOA1 to approval.

After approval, it takes another 3 - 5 months to apply for the actual CR-1 visa on the local consulate side.

Yeah, and that's just an average, so you could be on a shorter end or a longer end.

but i read tge USCIS site it said that it only took 6 mos?i'm confuse..

The data here is generated by VJ members inputting their data, so it's only a subset and it's obviously prone to errors as people don't necessarily complete their timelines accurately/completely. But it is based on people who use this forum and likely complete their forms more accurately etc. as they've read a lot and have had advice.

The USCIS data is going to be across *all* their petitions. So, 6 months average sounds about right and is probably more accurate as a data set as a whole.

the uscis site is misleading .. since august stand alone 130's are routed to your local office 99% of the time.. then approval depends on volume at that office.. Washington dc for example is running 6-8 months.. mine was less than three.. yours will be around 4 if you go to the SF office which is highly probable

uscis approval through sf office around 4 months

nvc stage 2 months

embassy interview 1 month

total time to visa in hand 7-8 months

there are many variables that can impact this, the most common are rfe's, possible delay in transition from uscis to nvc, any issues the petitioner or beneficiary is not ready for at nvc stage.. police certificates, Philippian specific needs, etc..

basically your petition will take 8-10 months overall.. if you hit all the marks with no issues, 7.. but that is really fast these days

You can start filling in your timeline and update throughout your process here in VJ so you have an estimation on how long you will wait. Plus it helps not only you to track where you at, it helps the new JV members to get a good estimation time on their process. :)

Genesis 2:22-24
Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman, ' for she was taken out of man." For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

10 months is about average.. mine personally is looking like 7-8, which included a 7 week delay between uscis and nvc

after uscis approval (mailed to the petitioner) you will receive your noa2 then it goes to nvc; nvc will take 2-4 weeks to get case number and all bills paid. then you send the two sets of docs (each on their own path.. check the nvc threads for this)... then three weeks or so for approvals at nvc.. then one week to schedule interview.. then interview depending on country is 1-3 months out

so without rfe's, as you can see there are variables based on how quick you get through nvc and when the interview dates are generated and available

good luck!
