Letter from the Embassy

My fiancee just received a letter today which confirmed receipt of the K1 petition on Oct 20. It includes a checklist of docs she needs, notice that the interview will be scheduled 150 days from Oct 20 and that packet 4 will be mailed out a month before the interview date. I wonder if this 150 days is just a standard timeline to cover themselves, where in fact there could be the hope that the interview could occur sooner. I know though that one VJ member predicts that the interview will be sometime in March.

They also stated in the letter we received it's 150 days.....what I observed in August and September NOA2 approvals have the January 2007 interview dates. We're also hoping for a February or March...... We have the same date when we received an approved letter from USCIS. The last we got last Nov. 6 stating that they're going to send the papers in Manila....Twas a loooooooooong wait...... God bless to all of us.
