Any tips regarding infant medications like creams and ointments to hand carry? Do I need to put them in a plastic bag during security check?

Does the baby diaper bag is allow to hand carry aside from your personal hand bag? I know I am allowed to have 1 hand carry luggage and then a personal hand bag.

Thanks again.

Just bring your regular diaper cream. Didn't have to bring any meds. Safe to put it in a zip lock.

Yep. The diaper bag is not counted against your regular carry-ons. However, I suggest that you just put your personal belongings in the diaper bag. That's how I did it. Oh and bring at least 3 change of shirt for you. You'll never know what will happen.

Florianns,

An adaptor will work just fine. I didn't need one on my first visit to Mindanao as my inlaws house was wired 120V just like here in the states.

Adapator sets are cheap and normally have 4-5 types to accomodate different countries requirements.

Cheers

Depends what pump your using. I have read reviews not to use the medela pump on an adaptor and on a diff voltage using a transformer etc because it does eventually ruin the wiring and effectivity of it. You can also call the company, medeLa wouldn't acknowledge the warranty if it broke overseas so i didn't risk it, it's added weight anyways so right now I have the manual pump which is so much less bulky but can still get milk. Just call the maker of your pump to make sure :)

Honestly, the flight itself isn't the hard part, it's departure and Arrival when you're going around the airport. Don't stress so much about it you'll be fine :)

I got Medela brand for my electric breast pump. That what I thought so could be a bit hassle to bring kind bulky as well the dual pump.

Thanks. Now I am thinking to have the manual pump.

Anyway, have a safe journey as well for you in 2 weeks.
