I am still in the gathering stages of the k-1 visa packet. I am confused on what I need. I have been reading the forums for info and getting conflicting information.

1. On the originals-does this mean original applications?

On the biographical page for the fiance, do I need to submit his original signature with the 1st packet, or the packet that he takes to his consulate?

9/01/15 AOS Interview Houston-APPROVED!

9/01/15 Card in production, Welcome notice has been mailed

9/05/15 Welcome Notice Received

9/08/15 Greencard was mailed

9/10/15 GREENCARD RECEIVED!!!!!!!!

On the forms, you need to be sure to have both of your original signatures where they are required. I believe the Beneficiary only signs the G-325a form and the petitioner signs both the G-325a and the I-129F. Also, sometimes you can sneak through letters of intent with scanned copies, but since they need to mail you the original G-325a, I'd recommend having them mail you the letter of intent as well. Also I advise using blue ink to sign with black ink for the form so they don't mistake it for a copy if you sign in black ink.

February 6, 2013 - USPS Receipt/Delivered I-129F April 28, 2014 - Received Acceptance NOA1 hard copies for AOS and EAD May 13, 2016 - Walk in Biometrics Completed

February 8, 2013 - NOA1 Notice Date May 12, 2014 - Biometrics Appointment Done September 27, 2016 - ROC Approved (Checked status via website w/receipt #)

1. You will need the G-325A with your 1st packet (petition) for him to be sponsored as a K1 applicant.

2. You both have to attend the interview at the consulate, so either one of you can bring it.

K1 Visa Process -> 12/09-06/10 Married -> 09/10/10 AOS Process -> 09/10-12/10 Removal of Conditions-> 09/12-07/13

In the Dominican Rep, it is not mandatory. However, it is "highly recommened". Very few couples are approved when only 1 shows up, unless medical issues were the reason. This process is not so smooth, make sure you read up on the "Interview Experiences". Prepare, Plan, and be Proactive.

Hello... even I thought it would be just beneficiary. Is it mandatory for Petitioner also to be present at the time of interview??? Indian Consulate in particular!!!!! Please help...
