I-134 AOS - High debt to income ration a problem?

Is this reviewed during the I-134 process? I can say if I ever had to choose between feeding or providing medical care to my wife or paying a credit card I would pick wife but I am wondering how this is considered into everything.

Anyone has expierence of being denied because of Debt to Income Ratio? I make around 65K a year and own a home ( with mortage, valued at 116K balance of 98K) just to give some perspective to speculators.

I am really just looking to hear from anyone who was actually denied or had a problem because of personal debt not because you could not prove income.

Government only cares about your income. If you have good income they can garnish and let all your other obligations burn.

You do not ever present what your debts are for the affidavit of support forms. Your gross income is all that matters. They do not care about how much you owe.

As others stated your debt is irrelevant. It is not asked about at any point. Student loans, mortgages, bankruptcy... none of that matters. It is never queried. ONLY your income matters.
