Well, it appears that anyone that is so much as considering the possibility that a reasonable path to a legal status and eventually to citizenship for those here illegally at current is preferable to the status quo, anyone that either doesn't want to round them all up and dump them south of the border or realizes that that would be an impossible mission and anyone that doesn't think that installing a giant new "Berlin Wall" like structure and minefields on our southern border is what we must do is an illegal loving commie. Not the least bit impossible. Start levying huge fines and a path to jail time for those that hire them, Do not allow them to receive any services that are not needed for a life threatening situation, do not allow them to register for school and universities.

We will not have to dump them anywhere. They will go back home for the same reason they came here. To find a better life. No need for fences, no need for more massive Federal programs.

Problem solved, no huge cost and burden to our citizens.

Anyone who believes this comprehensive immigration reform Amnesty Bill will be anything other that a re-run of 1986 under the Reagan Presidency is seriously deluding themselves.

This is a long-term vote grab, nothing more. Neither side, for their own reasons, both economic and political, wants the flow of illegal immigrants to stop. Legalizing those illegal immigrants already here is the aim. Border security is not.

Here in Japan they have opened up immigration to Philippinos and Chinese etc so that these young foreigners will work for less than minimum wage to look after the e er increasing aging population here.
