I don't like the thought of this.

When people go through whichever visa process they go through, like we have, it takes time, money and heartache.

Why didn't we just sneak me across the border and hide and get given immunity from deportation instead of being good, legal citizens and undergoing the process the proper way.

It makes me so mad.

Whoever you are, wherever you're from, you don't just sneak into a country and expect immunity. Why are Congress even considering this?

Aliens across the country should petition USCIS for a refund.

because then you'd have to live as an illegal - if and when you're granted immunity from deportation. who wants that?

Sorry that was an attempt at sarcasm. There's no way I would have ever considered doing that. It just frustrates me that people have snuck into the USA, totally avoiding proper procedure and they are now possibly being allowed to stay and all of the trappings that entails.

It undermines the proper process!

keep in mind the number of illegals who did not 'sneak' but instead were brought here by family. illegal immigration and deportation is a very emotional issue for many families. there should be an avenue for people that fall under the grey areas of illegal immigration to adjust status and gain citizenship without marrying a u.s. citizen - which currently, i believe, is the only way most can go about it..

B.S. Their parents broke the law by bringing them here. Everyone has a sob story about why they should get special treatment. "My daddy brought me here, it's not my fault" Maybe give them a path to residency if the parents are willing to do a little time for the laws they broke.

I'm waiting for Muslim gay illegal cousin immigration.

That's known as the nuclear option to the liberals.
