Mail the ROC Packet before ROC Windows open or No?

Hello Everyone,

Just had a quick question my window will open July 23, 2013 my Roc packet is ready. Can I mail it July 21? or should I mail it the day of my windows will be open? Thank you and appreciate any feedback.

Yes, and make sure the date on your petition is no earlier than the first day your window opens. They are very particular about these things and often return a petition for reasons like that.

By the way, there is no requirement to file on the exact day your window opens. Your petition will be considered valid if filed at any time during the 90 days right before your conditional green card expires. Good luck!

Thank you! Yes I have to sign the I-751 form July 23,2013 as well and mail it the same day. My green card will expire oct.21,2013. July 23 is where my windows to file is open for 90dys period. How about the money order? Or the Check? Can i put the date earlier?or same date as well? Thanks

Everything with signature signed/dated need to be dated within 90 window before the GC expiration date.

Few days earlier won't help you much here , so my advise is don't rush here.

I personally prefer personal check, so that can be checked when cash it.
