Couple of I-129F and AoS Process Questions

I'm just trying to understand the process, so if these are stupid questions I apologize in advance.

I applied for the K1 visa in the middle of April, We got our NOA1, and I haven't heard a THING since, so I guess to ease my mind, as well as to know what to expect:

1) Is there a typical time frame in which someone may get an RFE (I know that not everyone gets one) and if so, when?

2) Will you get a NOA2 if you're denied?

3) On average, once you get approval via NOA2 notice, how fast (range wise) does it take until your fiance(e) has their interview? I also know this is one of those things that depends on the country.

Also, I know once you get your fiance in the country, you have to apply for your adjustment of status once you're married, how many of you are saving up for that prior to them coming to the country (because it's about $1070), and how many of you just planning on putting money away once they're here?

For those of you outside the I-129F journey and onto the AoS, how soon did you apply, and what would you all recommend being the minimum amount of time after the foreign fiance's date of entry on the K1?

1) RFE comes in the same timeframe as approvals would come if there were no RFE. Basically when the adjudicator looks through the file and makes sure everything is in order, they either find everything they need and approve it or they find that they need more information and they request more evidence (RFE)

2) NOA2 is simply a Notice of Action. It can be an approval or a denial. K-1 is approved at somewhere around 90% so odds are in your favor

3) Cannot tell you how long for the interview, as the process varies from consulate to consulate. My advice would be to go to the regional forum for your consulate and read through posts there. If you don't find what you are looking for, then make a post and ask. People who have gone through the process there will be able to answer this much better than people who go through other consulates.

OH! You just got approval I see, CONGRATS!

Thank you for answering, now I know a bit more what to expect. The VJ Timeline is saying Sept or October for me.

I'm hoping sooner (as we all are, I'm sure), I heard Feb filers have been getting approved for the last month, so hopefully it won't be much further for us!

let me coment on questn 2 as it made me smile. N0A2 means Notice Of Action 2 so if u get approved or denied its still a N0A2 coz it tells you what next and if denied why and what else u could do.

I know that NOA means Notice of Action, but my thoughts were that they're not really making any additional "actions" as it's a decision for approval/denial, the NOA2 could be used as a notice for when they fwd your approval to VSC, which would TECHNICALLY be an action.

The gov't likes to be extremely particular about things (as former military I know ALL too well) so I figured I'd ask and know than assume and perhaps be wrong.
