The US Citizen can go to the Embassy with to the interview with their spouse. Just make sure the US citizen takes their US Passport with them. At the time of the interview, they will ask the US citizen to be put aside and interview the applicant alone. Then they might call the US citizen and interview them also. This is what happened with me

mzzUsa,yes us citizen can attain interview with the spouse, all is need to take his us passport..but regarding the interview i think it depends me and my wife went on the interview window togather and CO never seperated us he asked half questions from my wife and half from me,but he never asked her to sit far while he is conducting my interview,so in my opinion it depends on the CO and case.

No my husband was put in Ap. I asked the CO how much time will it take he said 2-3 months. But now its 3 months and 22 days still no news of his visa beside AP. May Allah get us out of AP and issue his visa fast along with all others. AMEEN SUMMAH AMEEN

It breaks my heart to see so many Pakistani in AP! I am preparing myself mentally. Do you think you being present at the interview helped or not? I am debating if I should attend my spouse interview or not

How long did it take you guys to get interview schedules after case was complete at nvc?

Based on my research it's within a week appointment is schedule and it is usually after 45 days or between 30 to 45!

My info based on studying other Pakistanis timelines

Thanks that's a little bit of good news compared to all the bad ones I've been hearing on here!

I would also like to know if it matters if the USC is at the interview? I'm in the states but I'm curious to know..

good to know. that means it really depends on them , they might let usc go in together or might ask usc to wait.
