You got that right and so far Jenna has basically been able to testify " I Heard something and called the po po" Prosecution is reaching.

I wish she'd mumble in a low voice more, I'm not use to this kind of testimony.

Yes and they still know it is meant to be derogatory. That idea that blacks can not be racist is absurd.

just say texas, don't be ashamed. rep yo hood.

Growing up, my wife and her friends always thought it was kind of exciting whenever they would see a white person. Not a lot of diversity where she's from. So, she comes to America where she expects to see a lot of white people and where does she live? The south side of San Antonio. She's still looking for the white people. laughing.gif

oddly enough the majority of my lifelong friends are from texas or live in austin currently - all white. i have a cousin that lives near houston, she's only half white. go figure.

i've never been to texas but texas is the reason i'm married to a canadian - long story..but i do have a soft spot for tejas content.gif

Im going to go out on a limb here and say this seems to be a polarizing case. Its probably safe to assume that there are people on the jury that will take different sides. Does that spell a hung jury? Both sides seem to filter what they see through pre-concieved notions.

what is the follow up to a hung jury? Just another trial?

Austin is a nice place. Traffic sucks though. I think years ago they didn't make any plans for road expansion thinking people wouldn't move there if they did that. People moved there anyway. If you ever get a chance, check it out. San Antonio is cool as well. The rest of Texas is pretty lame.

I hope they have a hung jury and another trial. We need more TM/GZ threads.

Oh no, bombshell...

Colombian woman testifies GZ was on top when TM was shot. She even spoke to GZ while he was on top and he said "call the police". She saw GZ get up from on top of the body and walk around.

Wasn't the entire angle that TM was on top beating GZ's head into the cement? She says this happened on the grass where the body was found.

I'd say this is a major development.

Have we gathered from this current witness that GZ was on top?

It appears that Dee Dee was not the star witness. No wonder the State doesn't rely on her.

WOW...

Yep, GZ was the top person, just as others had stated and on grass.
