Hell no! I go right in there. It is absolutely the custom in RUB countries. Most stores don't care and any that say something, Alla just glares at them and says "He's my husband...don't be silly" If your wife is not Ukrainian and you still want to go in there and she does not have the Ukrainian directness...then just say "I have a personal medical disability and need my husband's assistance...unless your store would like to provide an attendent for me"

Interesting discussion when someone can actually discuss. Academic entertainment for me. I don't have a TV and I allot a little time to helping others immigrating, concentrating particularly on people with Ukrainian or RUB families, and a little time for P&R debate and posting opinions. But that's it. Seriously, I do not give a rat's @ss. We pretty much live our lives with little regard for what is happening on VJ P&R. First time in my life I have had a really long vacation, I love staying in Ukraine (despite the rumors, I have no serious "hate on" for Ukraine at all) I am having a ball! It is way past my bedtime but I can sleep late if I want to. (don't tell my mom!)

I just saw that Anderson Cooper is going to spend an hour on this trial at 10pm EDT tonight. This is straight out of the Twilight Zone. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. The Kardashian's have their own hour long show every week. This is Idiocracy at it's best.
