any advise from USCIS to the beneficiary after NOA1

Dear VJ Family,

I got 2 concerns here that's been clouding my mind as far as our petition is concerned.

Firstly, after receipt of the NOA1, had there been a time for the beneficiary to get any kind of advise from the USCIS during this stage?

Second, are there any cases being left to the National Benefits Center for processing? Are all petitions coming from the National Benefits Center forwarded to the petitioner's local office? If not, anything in particular why cases were forwarded to the local office?

All comments are welcome and appreciated.

Kindly advise.

Thank you lots.

Advice for what exactly?

The majority of petitions are transferred.

Seems like those that are overseas have them stay at NBC and maybe a random few here for there.

But as far as I'm concerned almost all of them are transferred.

the beneficiary can not contact uscis, they will only speak with the petitioner

no need to fret about local offices, it is out of your hands.. the ones that stay at nbc are mostly filed from abroad.. regarding the rest, it is on the uscis website as of august 2012 stand alone 130 petitions are sent to nbc.. nbc is buried and has enlisted the support of local offices

only about 1% of the regular stand alone 130's actually stay at nbc for processing

not really sure what your concerns are tho.. sounds like info gathering smile.png
