Roc approved but I'm out of country what do I do?

I still don't feel like its true but I check my case status today and it says card production ordered! I'm out of the country so what do I do!? Can I come in with the i551 or I need the new card?

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

Okay so I called the military hotline and he said that I could come in with my stamp.. Can someone verify this is true?

You should be fine. The I551 stamp is good for a year. As long as you don't go over, you'll be fine!! Congrats on getting your green card!! It will probably be in your mail when you get home!!

You go to the USCIS website and either login to your account or enter your case number. When the GC is picked up by the USPS they will issue you a tracking number that you can use on the USPS website to track the package. Remember that this is Priority Mail and the tracking is not that great.

As long as you have an unexpired I-551--i.e. the stamp in your passport, the expired GC and extension lettter--you will be fine. The worst they can do is ask why you do not have the new GC.
