Memphis so this was.only.for registration? What about the pre.depature seminar will they ask those?

Rob ann hmm im pretty sure hes gna need to take the pre depature semibar cus thats for the stickwr or stamp on.the pasport to leave the coumtry

ahh ok.. the GCP is actually the pre-departure orientation seminar (PDOS) for fiance/spouse already.. and we will get the sticker once we have the visa already. we just need to present the GCC (certificate) to get the sticker to be placed on our passport.

Requirements for Registration

  1. Original and photocopy of Passport;
  2. Original and photocopy of visa
  3. Original and photocopy of Immigrant Data Summary for US-bound emigrants (except for K visa holders);
  4. Original CFO guidance and counseling certificate;
  5. Duly completed emigrant registration form; and
  6. Payment of the authorized registration fee.

but if u really want ur husband to attend again, he can go to CFO. but again, we can only attend the seminar once.. unless the petitioner is now new. i still suggest to have ur husband call CFO first to confirm if he really needs to attend again. since he already have the GCC.. and the GCP is the PDOS for us k1's and cr1's already.. it's just that PDOS is known for immigrants/workers.. but for us our pdos is actually the gcp

There are 4 categories for the Pre-departure orientation Seminar (PDOS):

Your husband already attended the seminar which is the GCP (Guidance and counseling Program)

Your husband was given a GCC (Guidance and counseling certificate)

Your husband will not need to attend the seminar again.. because he already attended the seminar and was given a GCC! And you are still the same petitioner until now.All he needs to do is to register by bringing the requirements for registration.

We can only attend the seminar once.. unless the petitioner is now new..

YES. If your husband already have the Visa in hand, he just need to go back to CFO and present the following to register:

Requirements for Registration

  1. Original and photocopy of Passport;
  2. Original and photocopy of visa
  3. Original and photocopy of Immigrant Data Summary for US-bound emigrants (except for K visa holders);
  4. Original CFO guidance and counseling certificate;
  5. Duly completed emigrant registration form; and
  6. Payment of the authorized registration fee.

Those are the requirements for the "registration"..

How will he get the sticker or stamp?

Once he already registered after bringing those requirements as i mentioned above; the same day, the sticker will be affixed on his passport then he can now fly to USA. smile.png

Again, have your husband call CFO too to confirm. smile.png

memphis was this for the guidance counseling?

they never asked my husband for my birth cert or bio passport data page at the guidance counseling.

they never asked my husband for my birth cert or bio passport data page at the guidance counseling.

when can u make an account for that delivery thngy for 2go? my husbands interview is not until the 8th. n if i do make an account for him what will he tell the counsel about the account for delivery options if he gets an approved visa?

We set up delivery instructions online when scheduling the interview. You can change delivery instructions there also. Lastly at the embassy after the interview you will go to one more window, there you confirm delivery instructions for 2GO, if you want them changed do it then.

Thnk u so much ive been told pdos is diffrrentlike the seminar. Cusit says PRE DEPATURR thinking its another seminar frm the gcp

ya.. it's just a lil confusing..when we say PDOS, we know it is the pre departure orientation seminar.. but for us k1 and cr1 our pdos is the gcp.. even at CFO in Manila, 2nd floor is for PDOS only.. but 3rd floor is for GCP only.. so dont get confused with pdos and gcp.. when we say pdos, it is for the immigrants / workers.. but for cr1,k1,ir1, it is the gcp.. :)
