Cover letter for AOS sent

Here is what I sent. Did I miss something??????? Also how long does it take for the NOA 1 for this to arrive.

- Payment in the amount of $395 ($325 for I-485, $70 for Biometric Fingerprinting).

- Form I-864 (Wife and Petitioner for I-130), Copies of W2 and 1040EZ for most recent year

- Copy of Passport biological page (Wife and petitioner of I-130)

- Form I-864 (Joint Sponsor), Copies of W2 and 1040 for last three years

- Copy of Naturalization certificate (Joint Sponsor)

MEDICAL

- Envelope sealed by USCIS approved doctor, containing I-693 vaccination supplement form.

APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

- Payment in the amount of $180

- Form I-765

- Two Passport sized photographs

- Copy of passport biological page (Applicant)

- Copy of I-94 (Applicant)

Copies of documents submitted are exact photocopies of unaltered documents and I understand that I may be required to submit original documents to an Immigration officer at a later date.

Looks good! NOA1 takes approximately one week or so to arrive.

my only comment for those considering using this cover letter as a template is that too much was sent it; some non-required items. I don't recommend sending in items not required. I would hate for something not required to cause any issue.

I know what you mean and I really didn't want to send out what was not asked for in the AOS process. I want to add that before this packet was sent out, I made an Infopass appointment and went to see an immigration officer. She gave me a letter containing the requirements for AOS application and all of this was included in that. I cannot afford any RFE's so I just sent out all the stuff. Also some of the stuff was added due to my I-130 pending. If it was approved and an approval notice was attached, it would have cut out a few things.

It looks really good!!

Lol, i did go check the instructions on a few things, cause I was worried I was missing something (birth certificate and passport with the affidavit of support).

I found the cover letter to be really helpful in making sure I added everything to my own package.

I added a few extra things to my package too, I'm sure i didn't need to send in a blank page from my passport to show it wasn't stamped, but i wanted to be safe rather than sorry.

Exactly, don't want an RFE and delay the process. So what really happens now, are they going to send a NOA1 along with biometrics and Interview date?

What happens now is you learn patience. You'll get NOA1 first, then biometrics appointment a few weeks later, than interview date a few weeks to months after that.

Oh, and I'm still trying to figure out which page in the passport the "biological" one is.
