I really appreciate hearing all your stories about people you have known who have gone through similar surgery. Its comforting to hear that its starting to get 'routine' (with our HEARTS, imagine that!).

I spoke to my fiance and just hearing his voice made me feel some better, too. (L) I am going to have to be the one holding it all together. My sister has two kids and they'll be upset about it (and won't quite understand) so she'll have enough to deal with, and my mom is a strong lady, but I know she'll be stressed out and just not thinking as clearly. But I don't mind being the strong one.

All of you and your support is truly a help. :) I will let you know updates as I get them.

I will keep you and your family in my thoughts.

David's father went through a quadruple bypass around this time last year. He was out on the golf course within 3 weeks. (Though he shouldn't have been, tsk)

Sept. 19th Sent AOS

Sept 28th recieved NOA for AOS

Nov.05/05 recieved Biometrics letter

Nov.17th Biometrics Appt.

Nov. 22nd. AP Approved

Nov. 25th/05 recieved EAD card

Nov.30th. recieved AP Papers in mail

Dec. 08th/05 Recieved Snail mail letter for AOS Interview Feb 15th 7:40 AM.

Feb. 15th. /06 AOS Interview SUCCESS !!!! no more to deal with for another 2 yrs!

Feb. 27th./06 Recieved Greencard in the mail

August 4th/06 Our First Wedding Anniversary !!

Feb. 8th 08 Sent in Packet to remove conditions

Feb 23rd 08 Recieve NOA letter stating they are extending my Greencard for another year.

March 11th 08 biometrics appt.

May 29th 08 recieved email stating Card production ordered

June 7th 2008 10 yr card recieved.

Thanks gang. Talked to mom at lunch, she and dad are both okay about it (as ok as you can be!) and are so very grateful that it was found the way it was instead of by him having an 'episode' (and thus, damage to the heart).

My parents rock. :):thumbs:

I will let you know what the surgeon says on Monday.

I know that you are scared but it will be okay. Your family will be in my prayers. Tell your Dad that he has lots of people praying for him.

03/30/09-received approval to remove conditions!

Tracy I understand only too well what you are feeling; my Dad has been advised to get a pace-maker - but he has steadfastly refused to do so... I understand the fear... but hang in there... these days angioplasty/angioblasty fall under routine surgery... it will be ok... sending Mojo and lots of good vibes to you and your dad.

Paul and I met on the Bazaar on the 14th January (he joined my progressive rock forum that day)

July 3rd he flew to England to meet me

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

It has been so long and so much has happened in between...

Arrived in Houston on October 29th 2006

Married 17th November 2006

Lost my father 8th January 2007 (all dates are a blur after this)

Conditional Green Card dated 24th October 2007

I-751 posted on 6th August 2009

Received on 7th August 2009 in VT

My dad has had two major heart attacks over the past 10 years but is in pretty good health and can exercise easily at the 'young' age of 72...so your dad has got everything on his side :)(F)

Met the ole man in January 1998

Jan. 2004: K1 visa issued ~ April 2004: Got on a plane ~ Nov. 2004: GC in my mucky hands ~ Dec. 2006: Received 10 YR GC

September 2008 - US passport delivered!

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.
