A question about the income requirement

Hi all,

Preparing for the documents for tax, I got confused about tax return document.

My husband is going to sponsor me for green cars process, but he got a job 8 months ago (he gets over the income requirement though).

Do I need to find another supporter since he doesn't have a tax report history in 2011 and 2010?

Or is it okay if he can submit his paycheck history as a support document?

Current income is what matters. Your husband may be alright to be your sole sponsor since his current income is above the 125% level. You may not need a Joint Sponsor.

It's okay if your husband does not have tax returns for the other years. If he made below $9000 annually, he was not required to file.
