After Biometrics

Hi,

I am currently a green card holder in conditional status (through marriage). The original expiration date on my green card was 6/22/13. I filed petition to remove my conditional status at beginning of April 2013. Few weeks later I received an document that extends my conditional status for an additional year and an appointment to do my biometrics. I went to do my biometrics on May 2013 and since then, I have not received or heard anything from the USCIS. My questions are:

1. When can I expect to hear back from them regarding their decision?

2. Can I use the document I received (conditional status extension) to travel outside the country and back?

I would greatly appreciate your input.

They are processing January applications.....There have been a couple of approvals for Feb filers from CSC.....So I would say you still have a few months to go.

You can go in and out of the country with the extension letter, expired green card and your passport other people prefer to get a stamp in their passports.......I guess it's up to you

Where can I get the stamp? I am not worry about getting into the US. I am worry about going out of the foreign country, since they always check your visa or green card before you leave.

Your local USCIS Office.

I would be more concern trying to get into the plane back to the US. That is when they want to see your GC.
