I submitted missing documents for the Affidavit of Support last month and my husband submitted his whole package of DS-230 forms with all the required docs (birth cert, passport size photos, etc)

I just called the NVC for a case update since quietly waiting just doesn't do me any good and I get too stressed out thinking I missed some other document, thinking I might have to do something else
while I'm waiting. So, the lady says that everything was accepted! and they were going to send a Visa application (is this an app I can find online? I haven't heard of this) and I asked her what I had to do and what would happen next. She said I didnt have to do anything and that once the application was given or something, the embassy would schedule an interview.

What does this mean? Are we almost done with the case?? I'm so confused and excited. I just need some clarification. I was asking her questions but she seemed annoyed :\

Actually it sounds like the AOS was accepted.

If they're sending a visa application that means they haven't reviewed the IV package yet. You may receive a false checklist for the IV.

Next time you call ask if your case is complete and if they're done reviewing everything.

Ok I just got an email. Well, my husband got it (he is the beneficiary) It's a CHECKLIST. They are saying "If you have any missing docs, please send them to us.." but

then on the other page it doesn't state if we missing any docs or what to send. My husband had mailed them the required docs and DS-230 about a month ago.

It just says:

______1 - IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION PART 1:_______________________

The National Visa Center is waiting for an Immigrant Visa Application to be submitted for this case.

The Principal Applicant and any other Applicants who will be accompanying him or her to the United States must now download and complete an Immigrant Visa Application; please visit the following website for instructions:

http://immigrantvisas.state.gov (click on the link for "submit Visa application and civil documents")

Please submit the Immigrant Visa Application form(s) and required supporting documents for each Applicant in one package to the National Visa Center; sending this information separately will delay your visa.

and then the CASE NUMBER

---So what does this mean? is my husband missing any docs from the ones he submitted or no? because this link is taking me to the same doc that he already filled out, and forms he submitted. So I'm confused :(

This is a false checklist. Ignore it. It just means they reviewed and accepted your AOS. Now you have to wait for them to review and accept the IV package and then they will give you a case complete.

just take the printouts of ds230. follow the instructions. attach supporting documents like police certificate, marraige certificate, birth certificate, etc. Once ds 230 get approved. they will send you final letter giving you your interview date and medical instructions
