Exactly. Just as I said. No barriers to same sex couples other than those that exist for opposite sex couples. Well, some same sex couples will not be able to marry overseas in the foreign partner's country if that country doesn't perform same sex marriages. Aside from that, it's a level playing field now. And that is a big win for equal rights.

Also, here is more thorough fact sheet about post-DOMA immigration for same-sex couples: http://www.nclrights.org/site/DocServer/Post-DOMA_Immigration.pdf

I am all excited about Gay divorce.. In fact I think gay divorce court would be awesome. Can you imagine two Fem Gay guys going at it in Divorce court.

May be better than Judge Judy

And this is the ONLY reason that I am excited about this.

Now those balding old jerk Judges shatting in family court will now have to do actual work instead of just lazily assuming that the Mother is the better parent. With two Mummies or two Daddies, awarding custody will be interesting. Looking forward to it.

If someone is in love with someone else, they should absolutely be able to marry.

Now, we should fight for polygamy (yes, really.)

Polygamy is not for me, but some people would prefer to have a multimarriage.

People should be able to define marriage as whatever they please.

Yes, polygamy is way underrated.

Why would any man want two women busting his balls?

Hear Hear. My wife asked if I would ever cheat. My reply was, as much trouble is one woman is I can't imagine two. However if 4 women wish to marry one man why should any of us care and try to impede on his version of happiness

If we could get the extreme right and extreme left to leave the rest of us alone , and make people understand , that yes.. The Constitution could not possibly have taken into account many of today's problems. That is why we have a way to amend it.. Hint it's not called by judicial review.

Cheating is not marriage. Having sex with other people, if both of you agree (or participate) is not cheating. My response would be "define cheating"

The constitution is not intended to be amended to strip people of rights.

Not at all. Lots of gay couples have children, whether from previous marriages, surrogate mothers, in vitro fertilization, sperm donors, adoption, whatever.

WHAT!!!!!!!!!????

That sounds just like Heterosexual couples!

*Only applicable to the Second Amendment.

Who says? I support Gay marriage and always have, and I support the 2nd amendment, always have. Because I support freedom.

If you all want the world population to end faster then turn #######. I agree with this I'm for traditional marriage only. This is not important hasnothing to do with goverment why not tackle more important issues im am so sick of prop 8 the whiny homosexuals. How about fix the economy give people jobs screw the prop 8 should be last on list.

There is always an assumption that if we do not allow Gay marriage that Gay men will marry lesbian women and live happily ever after and be fruitful and multiply. Nonsense. They will still be gay and lesbian.

No one is going to "turn gay" because of this ruling. I am pretty happy sleeping naked with a hot woman, even though gay marriage or civil union here has been legal since before I met my wife. Who'da thunk it?

My main concern "Big Dog" is that when you speak of welfare, you sound just like "MR. Big Dog" I get you two RWNJs confused all the time. Is the "big dog" thing a right wing code for something?
