USCIS approve my k1 vissa

My k1 visa been approved can anyone help whats next step will happen and how long will i need to wait for the interview? Does my fiance need to sign anything to nvc?? Please any help will be appreciated... We just need to know so we can prepare thank you...

Your case will be forwarded by your Service Center to the National Visa Center (NVC). Two weeks after you receive the NOA2 you can contact the NVC to see if they have received your approved I-129F. after that you will be given a consulate case #.

The petition that was filed was approved, not the visa. The visa is still pending the outcome of the interview.

For the NVC:

Checking on your embassy case number:

It will take 7 - 10 days business (it has been running longer as of late) for NVC to receive your file from USCIS after you receive the NOA2, then another 2 - 5 business days for NVC to get your file in there system and get the case number from the embassy. Call after 4:45 PM eastern time for shorter wait times K1's are not tracked through the AVR, ever. They are processed like an immigrant visa, but they are NOT immigrant visas, so they fall into a completely different class of their own. Therefore you need an operator. To get there:

1-603-334-0700 Operator assistance is available Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 AM (Eastern Time)

Press 1 for English
Press 5 for an operator

Thanks for all the info... I appreciated it sooo much... I called the nvc and they told me that they just forward my application today july 3, 2013 here in hongkong embassy... Now how long doni need to wait for them to contact me... They gave me my nvc case...

Just keep calling NVC like twice a week. Ask them if they already have your case from USCIS. When your case is already in at the NVC you will be given another case number. From here it will be a faster process depending on how you are proactive on calling them.

I called nvc and they said my application is in transit already in my local consulate.. Do the nvc will send me a mail ory fiance to get my case number and invoice id???

They already gave me the case number but theyre daying something bout the invoice id and they said they already forward it here in hongkong are we still need to wait for nvc letter or just call them

For the K1 visa process, the NVC is only a mail stop (a case number is assigned to the file and the file is sent to the appropriate post abroad). Since you have a case number from the NVC and they have stated that the file has been sent, you are done with the NVC. Further inquiries about your case should be directed to the Consulate now.
