Can anyone who has gotten their police report in Jamaica tell me if it is sealed when you receive it? In other words are you able to look at it before you bring it with you to the interview or is it sealed?

Thanks!

Thank you everyone! Next trip down we plan on getting that part of it out of the way. I heard the line at the MoBay police station can be brutal so planning on staying in Mobay the night before and just getting in line in thr middle of the night...wish there was an easier way!

Pretty easy in Kgn...if you're in that neck of the woods

pay at tax office @ Kgn Mall, King St, go on over to Duke St

with receipt & get it done, they move fast, just be there before 3 pm

Kingston is kind of far to travel for him. But do-able. The Montego Bay Summit police station is closest but I can't get a hold of anyone there to confirm what day/times he can go there for the report. I have only found one number for the station and it's either busy or no answer. ugh!

At the Kingston station can you get the report same day? Or do you have to go back?

Thanks!

Yep you gotta go pick it up...they expedite in kgn...it might be worth the

trip ...If U don't have a rental jump on the Knutsford Express 6 am beee

in New Kgn by 9:30am grab something to Kgn Mall & get it done...U can

grab the 5 pm back to Mobay...fares about US$30.00

The expedite in Kingston is still the 5 days? And there is no specific day? That right there might make things easier if you can go any day as long as it's early. The way the Mobay set up seems (if I can even find out what day it is) is that people have to get there in the middle of the night to get in line and even then some don't get through. That is a waste of time.

Yes its 5 days in Kingston, if hubby is making trip alone to Kgn. he

can eve travel cheaper by van to downtown Kgn. walk down to tax officd

on King St (Kgn Mall) pay then walk over to Duke St the office for police

record 30-45 minutes there, get there before 3 pm

Thank you! Do they not offer the one day service any longer? I saw the fees went up for the records and it listed JA$6000 for 7 day expedite and $8000 for 1 day. I can't believe the fees have practically trippled!

Also, do we send the police report in with one of the packets or does he bring it with him to the interview? I haven't gotten the NOA2 yet but looks like some people with similar Noa1 dates are being approved so i am trying to get things prepared. Thanks again!

CORRECTION: $6000 JA for 5 days expedite $8000 for 1 day. Maybe I will see if I can call this week and hope someone actually answers. I can't believe they don't answer the phone at the police station...only in Jamaica. You know who NOT to call in case of emergency.lol

You can call the Kingston location and let them know that you are calling Foreign and they will take the time to answer your questions. That is what we ended up doing was going to Kingston and we got it that day. My husband and his brother have similar names, and it was a mess with the police cert.

Also, you bring the police cert to the interview. he has to sign it also.
