Round Trip Ticket v One Way Ticket

Hello All,

Individuals issued a nonimmigrant visa must purchase a round trip airline ticket while those with immigrant visas need only a one way ticket. Since the K1 visa is in a gray category, does anyone know for sure whether a round trip ticket is required or just recommended? Any ideas about where I can find out for sure? Thanks!

I had noticed that round trip tickets were a lot cheaper, and at the time i was annoyed by this, but for the final flight "home" i just decided to type in keywords into a search engine and i think i used "discount one way flights" possibly adding "usa" and i was directed to a couple of sites where it was somewhat cheaper. For example, i am to fly to Atlanta, Ga on december 13th and i got it single for 430 dollars, i thought that was a pretty decent deal, especially for the time of the year....

It goes through a varieties of travel websites including the airline websites and comes up with different fare options.

One little secret

you can look for the fare and see which site or airline has the lowest fare, write down the fare details, exact flight, date, then go the airline website to book your flight, that way you dont' have to pay extra booking fees.
