Is there a waiting period at all between the interview and the approval of the visa?

Sounds like there isn't onme but I thought i would ask just to be curtain.

It says there's a wait of 5-10 days depending on location.But check out other VJ timelines who have gone through the same Embassy

We were told at the interview that we were approved. It can take a while to get the actual visa delivered after that. Sometimes the wait is a few days .... in our case it was 19 days after the interview that the visa was finally delivered. Be careful about making travel plans in advance unless you are prepared to pay rebooking fees. My return was rebooked once and I ended up coming home without her as I was out of vacation time. Her ticket was rebooked twice while we waited and waited. We had allowed 10 days thinking that would be plenty for a metro Manila delivery. There were 2 other women that Marlene stayed in contact with that had their interview on the same day as hers and theirs took extra long for delivery too.

You should get an answer (approval or otherwise) as soon as the interview is completed.

Hey neighbor!

My understanding is they will tell you at the interview if yor visa is granted or denied. Then it takes 5-10 days for it to be delivered to your fiancee.
