Frustration with VT RFE

Early November filer here. We got an RFE May 24 while I was, ironically, out of the country visiting my fiance. The RFE was for additional evidence of having met in the last two years. When we met last summer, the border did not stamp my passport (it was electronically scanned), so I didn't have that. And it didn't occur to me to save boarding passes, because I didn't know I was going to meet my fiance. So we sent in my itineraries, the itineraries for him when he came to visit me in September and we decided to get married, photos with us in France, photos of us in US with my family, affidavits from my family and two friends about his visit here, and my telephone records, which showed roaming charges for me in France last summer.

Still got an RFE. By a miracle, I found a boarding pass from last summer. And we copied my fiance's passport, which shows his entry to the US. And I sent in my credit card records, which shows my card charges in France from last summer. It's been two weeks VT received in our information, and I've been patient, but now I'm getting frustrated. And nervous as more time passes.

Nothing really to ask, just needed a place to vent. Thanks!

Audra sorry that you are feeling this way. We are in the same boat. I am a Late October filer and we received RFE on 04/24/2013 for intent to marry, I gave my lawyer the documents on 05/07/2013 and could you imagine that lady never mailed the document to VSC until when i informed her that I need evidence showing that she mail my document to VSC. Long story short VSC received our RFE on 05/29/2013 and we are still waiting for our NOA2. Is ok to vent, but hang in there our day is coming. I am so depressed and sad, can't understand why this is taking so long.

Thanks everyone. I'm trying to stay positive. I appreciate the support!

What you sent will work. Just pictures don't do the trick, but those additional proof will do.

2 weeks is nothing to get worried about. I know it seems to you that it is the longest thing ever (believe me, even now that I am just waiting for my EAD, every day seems endless) but everything will be fine rolleyes.gif

Just relax, you are going to get your NOA2 soon!

Good luck in your visa journey!

From the day we sent I-129F to the day I recieved my K-1: Exactly 9 months
I am the benifeciary
