Thanks to all of you for the greetings! I received my naturalization certificate at exactly 2:30 pm PDT today. There were 2,537 people in Los Angeles this afternoon who took the Oath of Allegiance to the United States. The top five most represented countries in particular order were: Mexico, Philippines, Iran, El Salvador, and China.

The link to that strip club story is here. tongue.png I can't really make jokes like that next time because some people won't forget and believe that it's true. devil.gif

Congratulations on your first VJ post as an American Citizen!!!!!!! Was the ceremony interesting?

Thanks! That was already my second post. I first updated the February N-400 thread. biggrin.png The judge, Christina A. Snyder, gave a warm speech. It was interesting that after the recorded speech of the POTUS, they played the music video of Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA."

Ah, congrats, Calypso! Woo-hoo, no more USCIS! dancin5hr.gif

Thank you! Please say hi to Nagi and Cinco for me if you are still keeping in touch with them.

Salamat, Cary. I'm sorry that I can no longer help. I decided to retire five years ago. At first I thought I could build my own consulting empire but even that couldn't lift my ennui. jest.gif I'm done with the entertainment industry.

Congratulations dancin5hr.gif

Thank you!

Late to the party but Congratulations! smile.png

Thank you! biggrin.png

It looks like Calypso deserted us

The high temperature in our part of the Westside these days ranges between 70F and 80F. That's too beautiful to miss by staying indoors and facing my notebook all the time so I've been out a lot.

That's no excuse. VJ is more important.

With my skin color, I need to spend longer time outdoors to get plenty of natural vitamin D. tongue.png That's more important.
