AOS Package - TR question

Question regarding 2012 tax returns

My 2012 (MFJ) TR has not been processed yet by the IRS. We filed MFJ and applied for my hubby's ITIN #. THe documents we provided initially didnt work - so we sent the requested docs and haven't heard back since then. Honestly, i'm not sure who's worse - IRS or USCIS unsure.png

Dilemma is...should I wait till the IRS sends me some notification/finalizes my 2012 returns (which i'm not sure when that would be..) or should I just provide the copy of the 2012 TR that I completed/used to file for the IRS.

The rest of the AOS package is ready to go...with transcripts from 2009 - 2011, employment verification letter, paystubs, W2's etc etc..

USCIS (142 days)
2013-01-25 - Sent I-130 to chicago lockbox
2013-01-28 - NOA1 (case at MSC)
2013-06-21 - NOA2

NVC (____ days)
2013-07-08 - NVC received case

2013-07-11 - IIN assigned
2013-07-17 - DS3032 email sent
2013-07-19 - AOS bill invoiced and paid

2013-07-23 - AOS packet sent
2013-07-28 - DS3032 accepted
2013-08-04 - IV bill invoiced and paid
2013-08-07 - IV packet sent (from India)
2013-09-10 - Case complete
2013-10-01 - Interview scheduled

Consulate
2013-XX-XX - Medical
2013-11-15 - Interview
2013-XX-XX - Visa in hand
2013-XX-XX - POE (Houston, TX)

Why delay you just want NVC to accept so you can move on to case Complete and interview right?

By the time of your interview maybe tax transcript will be available than you have that. It's not required to have for NVC. I sure wouldn't delay waiting on IRS.

And only current year is required so why not just send in 2012 and saved the other years for interview.

Remember NVC is just accepting your information not approving you.

Case Complete to Interview spreadsheet
