Hi Every One

Let me just say that I love this site, ever since my husband and I sent in our I-130 and all the rest Ive been obsessively reading every day lol. OK...So my story, we met in 2010 ad have been in a LDR since, we've been back and forth, ive been to the states about 7 times to see him we've taken trips together, all that. In January this year we broke up and I came to see my cousin in Vegas, long story short, he flew out here from GA pled his case we got back together and all caught up in the moment and him wanting to show how much he cared and how serious he was about me, and also the same for me, we got married (good old Little White Chapel). So i decided to stay and we filed all the paper work, meanwhile hes had to go back to GA to pack up and finish his last semester in school then come here. I stayed because I have a family here, somewhere to stay without worrying about bills and he was only renting a room in a house in GA so we just thought it was easier. Now, we filed on 13th May, we received our NOA1 about 2 weeks later, I did my biometrics on 18th June, and theeeeeeeeen just as I thought we were getting somewhere, we received an RFE for my medical (which I knew was coming anyway, and it's done ready to send) my birth certificate (I was born in Kenya raised in England so it's proving a hassle getting a copy from the Kenyan authorities but it's in hand) and a Affidavit of Support.

I guess I just want to know if everything's normal and just to vent a little, While theyre waiting for the evidence they've requested does it mean that all the cases are on hold - out I-130 I-485 and the authorisation for work one? Would it make any difference if they were aware that my husband is a veteran (He served in Iraq twice) would they get that from his Social because I didnt write it anywhere on the forms. Will it make a difference that for now we're not living together"? It was the most cost effective and sensible thing to do at the time...but we are in the process of getting joint bank accounts and we already have cell phone lines together....and does anyone else miss home yet lol?cray5ol.gif
