Hello Fellow VJ'S,

Like I said before my fiance has been living in the UK with a student visa for over 3 years now. He is close to having to renew his visa but has encountered some problems with his ILETS English Test just the writing portion... sad.png So we are very concerned that he will have a hard time finding a school to accept him before his visa expires or that the UK Border Agency will be very picky about his overall score of a 6. His Speaking was a 7.0 Listening & Reading were a 6.0, & his Writing a 5.0. Money and time are kind of tight so I'm not sure he is able to consider taking it again. Can his legal status in the UK affect the interview process with the Embassy? We have not been approved yet but I'm praying we do very very soon!!! Like many other's our case was transferred like ya'll know to TSC from VSC... I just pray that God leads all of us on this journey to a rewarding one after all the alterations we have to do in our lives just waiting for our love one to join and finally be part of our lives. This experience has been the toughest but with faith I know if the ending is not okay... it's not the end. smile.png I would appreciate someones help with this question or someone that has experience with the ILETS testing in the UK. It might be off topic so if it is moved... lol I'm sure i'll get a few of you letting me know! It's okay, it's just really related to my K-1 Visa & how something like this can affect it's process...

Yes I agree and thank you. He has no plan on staying with out legal status. It just sucks that he has been there 3 years or more with good standing with his visa and now that he has to study B2 level 6 he has to retake the ILETS test and the writing is the struggle... :( Let's just hope he gets approval or school approval soon... it's so difficult getting in contact with immigration there by the phone and they charge up crazy!
