Help and Advise needed

Hi everyone we are new here. My fiance Cherry and I are preparing to file for a k-1 fiance visa. She is preparing the G-325 form and had a question. She was born out of wedlock so her father's name is not listed on her birth certificate. Will putting her father's name on the G-325 form cause a conflict? She also does not have her father's last name but has her mother's maiden name. We are hoping this will not be an issue.

If her birth certificate does not indicate the father's name, then don't put it on the G-325A. Documents like birth certficates, G-325A must match exactly.

Whether her father is on her birth certificate or not is irrelevant. If she knows his name, she should put it down.

Thank you, Her parents were married soon after she was born and are still married. We just worry that the difference in last names and fact that her father is not listed will look odd to the officials.

the best way to go forward without stress is to copy all the information on the original forms

if no father was listed then put N/A or NONE

I wouldn't put the father in even if you know the last name.. happens all the time
