I'm not sure what's going on, but if I'm composing a post/replying or whatever and I paste a link and I DON'T hit the HTML switch before I post, the link and all the post after that link does not post.

It's fine if I use the "insert link" function but if I just ctrl-c - ctrl-v and then keep typing it will delete the link (it isn't actually a link when I post it, as in it doesn't appear as a hyperlink) and everything else after it once I hit post.

Is this a glitch? Is there a way to stop that from happening?

I'm going to post a link to my profile now and then type random stuff after it. Here is the link:

Edit: Yep see. I had posted my profile link and then some choice words after it... le sigh.

I have had the same problem and have let Administration know as well. I don't know why it is happening - if it is a glitch or if it is a coded set up. Regardless, it is a nuisance, for sure.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

So you are saying if you post in the basic text mode (vs rich text editor) the links are not staying?

I blame "skimwords." Yick.

I've removed this from the site entirely. If this was the issue it will not be any more.

If I have the grey switch on (so can't bold or anything) i can paste the links just fine. If I have the regular editing (where i can bold etc) it doesn't stick and anything typed after it doesn't stick either unless I hit the "insert link" button and post it there.
