After hearing the definition of 2nd degree murder I think they are over reaching. Can the find him guilty of a lesser count ?

If you're looking at a picture and there is a body on the right side of a sidewalk and it's moved left...its closer to the sidewalk...it's physics, not opinion.

But what's the difference? It would still be six feet from the sidewalk...too far to be thrown by GZ who just got the beating of his life. (that's sarcasm)

Actually, looking at Trayvon's injuries, with both ventricles shattered and both lungs pierced, and the lack of pooling blood, I would say his heart stopped suddenly, and if he was on top of George, he probably just went limp, and maybe fell to the side. It would be hard to see how Martin ended up face down, clutching his chest with both hands under him.

Actually, looking at Trayvon's injuries, with both ventricles shattered and both lungs pierced, and the lack of pooling blood, I would say his heart stopped suddenly, and if he was on top of George, he probably just went limp, and maybe fell to the side. It would be hard to see how Martin ended up face down, clutching his chest with both hands under him.

I wanna see the expert that explains the body being in that position at that distance as being totally consistent with the chain of events.

Since the bullet went through the chest was the trajectory straight out the back? I haven't seen any exit evidence.

With that damage he must have went limp. He was dead when he hit the ground.

Another weird observation that doesn't fit Zimmerman's story, are the positions of Martin's legs, twisted with the toes pointed toward each other. It appears that he must have been standing when his legs collapsed and he fell forward.

'Neighborhood Watch' Swaps Title in the Wake of Trayvon Martin Case

Hollywood's had its fair share of bad timing situations, from Spider-Man's Word Trade Center teaser trailer to a bizarre zoo-related death right around the release of We Bought a Zoo. This latest movie to strike up controversy is this summer's Neighborhood Watch, a new comedy starring Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, and Jonah Hill, which focused on — you guessed it — a neighborhood watch group who run into some extraterrestrial invaders. While there weren't any otherworldly aliens offended by the content, 20th Century Fox came under fire in the wake of the much-publicized Trayvon Martin murder case, the suspect George Zimmerman being a member of his own local neighborhood watch group. It probably didn't help that the first teaser also featured a shot of Jonah Hill mimicking a gun and shooting someone out of car. To avoid any moves of bad taste, the studio has decided to take action before their release: they're changing the name.

The movie will now be titled The Watch, a slightly more ambiguous label that steers the movie clear of any association. But Fox' press release also confirms an interesting choice: they're not wavering on the July 27, 2012 release date. Confident that some of the biggest names in comedy fighting off alien beings won't strike any uncomfortable chords with viewers, Fox is trucking along as planned.

Good idea or bad idea? If the movie's hilarious, maybe it doesn't matter. We'll find out when The Watch lands in theaters in just a few months.

And if he threw him off, TM would be on his back or side with arms and legs in odd positions, especially because the claim is he straddled GZ at the time of the shooting. The body face down arms underneath the body is strange based on the GZ explanation.

I think the summation will be the key...like Costner's speech in JFK.
