Bottom of the first inning day 2, the GZ Def is again dragging the proceedings on with boring questions to the "Community Watch Program Coordinator" CWC. They are taking a weird approach to the questioning, its almost like lull the Jurors to sleep approach. They need to focus more on content that makes points quicker. They actually make points for the State. Insane...

The State again was sharp and to the point. The CWPC stated that she gave out several written and verbal instructions to every prospective community watch participants to "not get involved with trying to prevent crime, only report it." As she stated "eyes and ears only". They presented the presentation that was given to the watch participants that states it large bold type on one entire page "You are not the vigilante police". It appears GZ violated almost everything he was told as a Watch Participant. Not good for GZ.

Its early in the ballgame, we'll see what happens the rest of the day...

They show the body of TM 20 feet from the 3 foot wide cement walkway. How could TM be 20 feet from the cement when is claimed that he was banging GZ head against it?

It seems implausible that he was banging his head into concrete and this is why he shot him. Then what happened?

A circumstantial case is built brick by brick. Final summation (closing argument) puts all those bricks in the correct place, and hopefully, the structure is sound. The defense's job is either to knock out enough bricks that the structure will not stand on its own, or build an equal, or better structure, from the same bricks. In this case, the roles are a bit reversed. The defense has to build its own structure, taller, and stronger than the prosecution, to support the claim of self defense. If the prosecution can show a more likely explanation, than self-defense, Zimmerman's defense fails, and he gets convicted of murder 2, or one of the lesser included charges.

Of course, this is going to be a very big deal no matter what the verdict will be.

If he is innocent, you know the usual suspects will be on here bragging about it. I'll wager Gary will go outside and let a couple of shots off and then come here and say how great it is to carry guns, Nature Boy will say serves the little thug right, Lost will continue to have a disparring look on minorities(nothing will change that).

If he is guilty, expect cries of foul from the same folks.
