please help me with some questions:

I recently moved to Turkey to marry my fiance.

1. Since i am living in Turkey, how do i fill out the 1-864 support form? Do I ask my parents are brother to co-sponsor? Do i need to send this with 1-130 or they ask for it later?

2. Do I send evidence of our marriage(pictures) with the paperwork or they ask for that at the interview?

thank you so much, but since I am living in Turkey, there is no way I can send them my previous tax forms. I am confused about that. I guess in the meantime I should send the 1-130. Do I need to send my marriage certificate with 1-130 or wait for the NVC to ask for it?

Will it be harder for me to file while living in Turkey?

Where you are living has no bearing on whether you can send past tax returns. However, those are not needed until the NVC stage of the process, several months AFTER you file the I-130 petition. If you don't HAVE copies of your tax returns, order tax return transcripts from the IRS. Have them mailed to a friend or relative who can forward them to you.

Be very careful in your use of "can't" in this process. In most cases, your supposed "can'ts" are actuall "musts" and you'll be required to find a way.

I stayed in Turkey for about a year after I got married and still to this day regret not going through the Direct Consular Filing Route. I don't know so many details about DCF, but I had to wait 8 months for our I-130 to be approved without any request for evidence at Vermont Service Center.

One important thing to remember about living abroad is that they will need proof of your domicile in the U.S.

If you read the FAQ section, it tells you how to prove that you still maintain ties to the U.S.

Also, you will still have to send in an affidavit of support form about your finances, but it seems like you will most likely also need a sponsor that is a US citizen.

It says here that Ankara offers DCF.

Yes, send some photos, not only of the wedding but of you living life together over time. Take new updated ones to the interview. Also include evidence you live together abroad and for how long.

thanks everyone for all your responses, just one last thing, i am about to mail out my 1-130 form. Do I need to include wedding pics and pics with my husband or they will ask for that later??

Stop.

Read this guide and make sure EVERYTHING that is stated in the guide is included.

http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1

There is a list of everything you need to include with the I-130 or else it will be rejected or denied. That includes bona fide marriage evidence. Which means they need evidence that you and your spouse have an ongoing genuine relationship.

Also read this:

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/EZGuideSpouse

It is also a guide but has examples of what you can use as evidence at the bottom.

Were you able to mail out your I-130 form? I believe the wait between filing and approval of I-130 is typically a year, at times lesser. Keep a PDF file of the form and instruction booklet which can you download and print at the Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services website. When your I-130 pertition is approved, the National Visa Center will receive the case and then it will reach the Foreign US consulate where the the visa interview will be conducted. For the I-864 Affidavit of Support for your spouse, to answer your question on sending them your previous tax forms, IRS tax transcripts OR Federal Tax Return + W2 or/and 1099 for the last year is fine, its optional to include last three years, but that would not be required at this stage too. Good luck!
