Hello VJ member,

Next tuesday I'm having an interview at the US embassy. I'm very confused and stressed, NVC sent original documents to my husband which he resent to me. So

looking at the checklist that Embassy sent me, they say i must bring all original documents like birth,marriage certificates, the document of criminal records, AOS

and etc. My package contained AOS without signature and our personal documents like birth and marriage certificates. So what imust do? I read on some site

and they say i must bring those documents that we didn't have time to send to NVC but we sent everything!!! Should i get another document of criminal records?

I have only scanned docs from NVC, even if i print them out they still be copy?! Please help me with an advice

If they already have all of those original documents, you need not worry about bringing them again. You can probably email the IV unit of the embassy to ask them about your particular case, and they should help you.

I did many time, the consul himself never replies, only his assistant, she said "if you represented all of your documents to NVC they must be here then", but i am really scared if i miss any paper

It's not the end of the world if something is missing -- you are usually told to bring it back later.

Hello Darnell how are u? I see your petition approval took some more time though we went through noa2 together I dont know which legend letter you meant, but from Embassy i received only standard package which documents required (they must have ones), so strange that NVC didnt do a favour to send all of our documents to embassy, they must have done it separately.

Stressing wont help...They send U a checklist of what they have (org) they

do lose stuff but U should walk with copies of everything..don't tell me ppl don't

make copies before sending something to NVC..if anything missing U will drop

off another day..relax best wishes

The appointment letter from NVC. it contains a list of documents.

each document has a symbol or a letter next to it.

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down below that list, is a short list of what the symbols and letters designate.

I'm asking you to review that appointment letter, study the legends, suss out what's what.
