OP the facts are kind of like what Capri said unless it is reported to ICE I think not to much will happen however when she tries to get 10 year card this WILL come up, I found out thru checking here in Texas that even if your immigrant spouse is not charged there is a way for USCIS to find out even if you are mentioned on a report for just about anything, but once again someone has to pick up the phone, here in Texas my ex spouse from Ukraine also commited DV and was never charged but it can still be a deportable offense under bad moral character. Get a attorney and put your side of the story together and BOTH of you go to USCIS together, here in Texas a knife is a felony DV charge and could be seen as felony assult, but then again this is Texas you sneeze on your wife you can get a DV charge pressed on you, if your a man. Be careful and stick to your guns and it will work out for the better. My prayers are with you

That's the site I've seen be referred to by others when they hit the beyond self help level. I would think, given you're in California, there would be immigrant support groups that might be able to help you out. I know here in Minnesota there is, and they've been a great help for those that can't afford to defend themselves here from getting railroaded. No idea why you would have gotten denied membership. Maybe some admin clicked reject instead of accept on accident?

Op, have you tried Catholic Charities or another non profit group? If you contact them they might be able to help or get you in the right direction.
