Filing I-765 online before submitting AOS paperwork.

Hi all,

I entered the USA as a K1 visa holder. I submitted my I-765 EAD online 1 week ago before filing AOS application. Later I realized the fact that my failing to file I-485 before EAD might endanger my EAD verification process. How should I submit the supplement for my EAD application?

Furthermore, since I am gathering documents for I-485 AOS, would it be possible for me to slide in my AOS in progress status for my EAD?

One more add-on, as I read K1 beneficiaries are allowed to replace I-693 (Medical exam) requirement by DS-3025 vaccination record, do I need to find a USCIS certified physician to certify my medical record?

Many thanks for your attention and response on this matter. (F)

You should have filed for EAD along with your AOS not before.... you may find that your EAD will only be approved to the date your K1/I-94 expires ie. 90 days from arrival....

the 1 years ead is based on your application for AOS so if they do not arrive together or you have included the NOA reciept number with your on-line EAD they can not base it on your AOS...

As for you DS-3025 you need to take that to a civil surgeon and get them to complete a I-693a that is what you need to include with your AOS packet.

Good Luck

zhirem,

Your I-765 is based on what category? (a)(6) or ( c )(9)?

Whatever, you might want to submit a new I-765, based on ( c )(9), along with your I-485.
