Hello,

I have a question about the "Police certificate" for my wife's CR-1 visa interview dossier at the Moscow Embassy. She just received the certificate but found out that the address on it was that of her father in St. Petersburg, an address she never lived at due to a divorce 16 years ago. Since the divorce she has resided with her mother, also in St. Petersburg, but at a different address. This was the address we used on her I-130 application and biographic form.

So the question is, can we submit a dossier with a Police certificate address different from her current residence? What will happen at the Embassy if we do and the addresses are different? What should we do? We can try to change her address officially, but that may or may not work (its Russia!) and it could take another month when all else is ready.

Any help would be appreciated!
