Filed I129f on the 3rd of November 20012, received NOA1 on the 5th, NOA2 on the 8th of May but up till now no case number from the NVC. I have been calling everyday for over a month now but same story every time( we don't have your receipt number in our system, send an email to NVCResearch).

I have contacted the Senator's and congressman's office but haven't heard back yet. I am sure my case file along with hundreds more is sitting down beside some clown in one of this offices. The USICS and NVC has to be the most incompetent government office I have ever had to deal with in my whole life. Shame!!!

Call USCIS and have them create a service request for your file. I am waiting from 91 days and still NVC have not received the file. They open the service request for me and said in two weeks, file will be with NVC.

you should chase down the file and the file location.

Although you 'contacted' a congressman's office, you not write of engaging with an immigration liason staffer human or even signing the privacy release form.

What's what, and when?

IME, daily calls with an ILS human was what worked for me, to get the casefile headed to NVC.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

My file finally got transferred to the NVC on Wednesday July 31st that is 84 days after NOA2. USCIS sent the file to NRC (National Records Center) instead of the NVC (National Visa Center) thereby creating this almost 3 months delay. Like this wasn't bad enough my fiancée lost her job yesterday so she wont be able to fill out the I-134, Affidavit of Support. We are a bit confused and sad as we have been waiting since November 2012.

1. how did you learn of routing to NRC and

2. how was the casefile routed out of NRC?

Well, I spoke to Tier 2 rep for the billionth time this week that was actually competent and she confirmed that USCIS had not shipped my app to NVC and it is still sitting in Vermont. She said she would put in a service request. This is just absolutely ridiculous. I love how they sent me a letter stating it shipped on July 12 and it did not move at all.
